CHIEFS PROGRAM AT NEW SALEM
The CHIEFS program is for teenagers, age 13 and up, and meet each Wednesday
evening at 645pm for Bible Study and fellowship. The Chiefs worship with the Bible
Buddies from 6:45 - 7:00, then have a Bible Study planned specifically for their age.
We invite all youth between the ages of 13-18 to join us for the CHIEFS program at New
Salem Church, to learn about Christ, how to Honor Him, gain Instruction, follow His
command for Evangelism, join in Fellowship and to Serve.
The Chiefs began a new curriculum for Wednesday nights. They are studying the Bible,
from Creation to Revelation. Fuel: Igniting New Life with God's Story is a video-based
series for students in grade 7 through 12, designed to present the Bible in chronological
order in a two year period. Chiefs. have been asked to bring a notebook in order that
they may reference their lessons in the future.
Understanding God's Word is important because he is the central theme. All the
answers to life's questions can be found in God's Word. The Old Testament points to
the coming of our Savior, the New Testament points back to the life, the work, and the
teaching of Christ.
