MINISTRIES OF SERVICE AND CARE
It is not the purpose of believers to occupy seats in a building, but rather to worship God, grow in Christ,
nurture one another in life, reach out to the lost, and be equipped to serve.
Music
Our choir meets every Thursday evening for rehearsal. Our worship services are enhanced by the music provided by our choir. We
welcome new singers to join this dedicated group.
Special music to add to the praise of our Lord is provided by volunteer singers from New Salem Church and guest musicians.
Praise Team
Think about how you feel on a cold day after eating a hot plate of food. This is kind of how the Praise team is--it is like "Soul Food" that
keeps you going for the week. If you like Christian music, please join this group. The Praise team usually begins our Sunday Worship.
Care Ministry
These dedicated volunteers prepare meals for families during times of need, funeral lunches, and serve the church in the prayer chain
ministry, hospital ministry, and in the flower/basket ministry.
Conquering Addiction
This group meets every Friday night. It is a support/prayer group that helps folks battle whatever addiction that they are facing.

| Prayer Breakfast Prayer breakfasts are scheduled throughout the year to bring believers together for a time of fellowship and prayer. Wednesday Night Supper This group provides the fellowship meal before Wednesday night Bible Study, during fall winter and spring months. Suppers are not provided during the summer. Relay for Life This team makes Relay for Life a ministry of our church by doing aggressive outreach with the emphasis of reaching people for Christ through this event.
